ARRIVAL

Death

Specific "arrival-arrival" information will be more intimately relayed in the acceptance email and intro post. To sum it up concisely: not long after dying and accepting the deal offered by that voiceless entity (who becomes irrelevant past that point,) your character will simply come to during the entrance ceremony of the very school they were signed up for, surrounded by other new students in the same boat.

Dorm

You'll find more detailed information about dorms on the actual dormitory page, but for quick reference:
✦ Each character will get a bunk, storage space, and study desk
✦ None of their personal effects or belongings will be here, even if they died with it.
NOTE: Second and third years have different dorm arrangements, but I'll save that for when upperclassmen become a thing.

Wardrobe

They, of course, receive some school mandated clothing. Their wardrobe will consist of the following:
✦ Winter and summer uniforms
✦ A schoolbag [examples of designs to come]
✦ Generic white undergarments (underwear, bras, etc)
✦ Socks and/or tights in school appropriate colors
✦ Pjs in the school colors
✦ A gym outfit in the school colors with an embroidery of the school's emblem
All in all, characters will receive a uniform set that is most comfortable to them. You could feel free to mix and match the uniform pieces with your own preference and the character's comfort in mind (ex. you OOCly like the ribbon on the girl's top more and your character ICly is equally comfortable in either girl's or boy's top, then feel free to pick the girl's top.)

NOTE: Specifics about the uniform designs and pieces will be shared before the game's opening.

Powers

When your character arrives as a first year, all of their powers are completely "locked up" for the time being. That way, students can gradually adjust to living in this new world one step at a time, instead of getting overwhelmed with doublefisting both new life adjustment AND whacky-powers-in-their-new-life. Once they proceed to their second year, they'll regain access to their powers (which includes magic, special abilities, naturally faster healing, inhuman senses, superhuman strength, and so forth.)

For those in tune with their magic or powers, it won't feel like it's "gone," but rather like it's inaccessible; as if it's just out of reach. Second and third years who are capable of sensing or detecting this kind of thing can, in fact, recognize a junior's contained power.

This doesn't apply to upperclassmen, of course (and once we get further along I'll have separate sections for each year.)

Money

Your character will receive an allowance from the school every OOC month—which is utilized through their phone, and being completely handwaved OOCly. The motto? Don't think about it. There's no currency to keep track of, no monitoring, just the expectation to be reasonable. You don't have to think about the fast food your character occasionally grabs with their friends, but they shouldn't be able to purchase several baskets of snacks at once—unless you want to play with them using up all their allowance for the month, then that's different. Allowing your character to be financially irresponsible with consequence is acceptable. ♥
