School Days takes place in Seaside, a humble town settled along the coast of an island—and as such, it's only accessible by ferry. The school functions as the heart of the town, as most attractions and shops cater to the student population (in a way that's not too different from a college town, if you think about it.) The island even goes the extra length of deliberately "speeding up" its seasonal progression, to suit that of the fast-paced school life. Spring, summer, fall, winter—it all comes and goes so quickly.

General Facts:

✦ Everything found here is the same as what's native to Earth—bugs, flowers, animals, and so forth.
✦ The island's seasons change every 1 OOC month, which is roughly every 10 IC days.
✦ Winters are cold! Summers are hot! And spring and fall land somewhere in between.
✦ At this time there's no means of public commute in town; there's a train line, but it's currently down.

✦ School

Saisei High School, aka the school your character is attending, which has most likeness to a typical Japanese school. It's been in operation for several decades now, funded by alumni and altruists alike.

✦ Dormitory

Located on the opposite side of town from the school, a 10 minute walk away. All player characters reside in this dormitory.

✦ Locations

Most of the town's businesses are centralized in one area, making shopping and exploring a breeze—especially since most routes from the dorm to school involve walking through town.
