For the time being, School Days is "friends only," in that only plurk friends of Marie (
AC is 50 comments a month comprised of at least 2 threads (1 with a club member and 1 with a roommate.) Please see the AC page for further information.
As with every other DWRP, communication is important. Joining the discord is a requirement, and while you aren't required to be an active participant or anything, it can become a big problem if you frequently disregard pings or ignore the server in its entirety. The most important part is making sure to keep people in the loop as needed—if you think your character's actions will affect their CR, give the head's up.
Everyone should know this by now. Respect other players and their boundaries! Please also respect the mods and gamerunners!
If you have a personal conflict with another player, I do expect you to at least try and navigate that yourself first. But, say you do end up in a situation that should be handled by the mod; you're sharing a club with someone who disappears for the rest of the month once they get their AC—or you have a roommate who can't thread anything outside of their ship. In cases like these, yes, PLEASE bring it to my attention. If you ever think "eh, Marie probably already knows about this so I won't bring it up," PLEASE ASSUME I DON'T and poke me anyway. As a mod I can check to make sure things are alright.
Though every player here is older than 18, and the comm itself is locked from public view, threads that head into explicit R-18 territory must be moved to a journal.
I'M SORRY, IT'S JUST FOR THE JOKE, "mod" and "god" rhyme, so—anyway, Marie's word is final! And, much like another (potato) tyrant out there, while I welcome ANY and ALL suggestions, I will ultimately run this game the way my heart yearns at the end of the day.

1 IC day will last about 3 OOC days. It's always encouraged to keep time moving forward, but I'll frown at you if you're trying to push time any faster than this ratio.
YES ABSOLUTELY AND PLEASE. Weather is variable, and sometimes weird things can happen! I'll try someday to make an inspiration post that people can refer to for mingle/post ideas.
Characters cannot be swapped out for another character in the midst of a month. The sole exception is swapping out a character who only just got placed at the start of the month. If it's only been a few days and you want to swap them out for someone else real quick, you can fire off an email to the mods about it, so long as it's done with the understanding that this character, too, still arrived at the same time as the other new arrivals ICly.
If they didn't/couldn't sleep before, their newly recreated bodies now require rest like everyone else.
Yes! The town is populated with citizens, the stores are staffed, and the school has teachers and other students. If you need to use any as props for your threads, go for it.
Nope, this is not the afterlife or a purgatory. Your character is very much alive in this whole other world.
